Washington Artillery order book and Della Torre family accounts, 1845-1876 (bulk 1845-1846).

Order book of the Washington Artillery includes orders concerning drills, courts martial, company parades, and other events. The volume also includes a newspaper clipping (1876) about an anniversary meeting of the Washington Artillery in Charleston (S.C.), and a letter (1847) from Della Torre concerning the resignation of an officer. In the back of the volume are estate accounts (1864-1865) of the Della Torre family for "Mother's estate" including accounts for Peter Della Torre, John C. Della Torre, R. Della Torre (the author), Mrs. G.A. de Caradeuc, Mrs. McOwen, and Miss McOwen.
